Dannengirsh (Dannenhirsch) Bergard (Berghard) Lvovich (1894–1972) — artist, teacher, and cultural organiser.

After graduating from the Latvian Academy of Arts, Berghard Dannengirsh worked from 1930 onwards as a drawing teacher and theatre artist. Around 1926, he became involved in the underground revolutionary movement, producing printing plates for illegal publications and constructing an etching press for posters and slogans.

From 1940 to 1941, he served as an inspector and head of the Department of Educational Institutions within the Arts Directorate of the Latvian SSR’s Council of People's Commissars. During the Second World War, he played a role in organising the Latvian SSR State Artistic Ensemble.

In 1945, he was awarded the honorary title of Merited Cultural Worker of the Latvian SSR. After the war, he continued working in Riga, serving on the organising committee of the Union of Soviet Artists of Latvia and as a member of the Artistic Council. He produced a number of paintings and contributed to book design for Latgosizdat (Latvian State Publishing House).
