Chertov Lazar Semyonovich (1898 — unknown). Until 1917, worked as a hired worker at various enterprises. In 1917, joined the Red Army. From 1918 to 1922, served as a secret agent of the 142nd Army HQ. From 1928 to 1932, held various positions: factory foreman, assistant smoker at a cooperative, mill manager, warehouse supervisor. From 1934 to 1937, was head of the classified section of the Baykalmashstroy. From 1937 to 1941 — authorised agent of the timber procurement division of the USSR People's Commissariat of Forestry. From 1941 to 1944 — head of the transit base of the Davendostroy. From 1944 to 1946 — inspector of the hard-alloys trust in Moscow. From 1947 to 1958 — knitter at a knitwear factory. In 1966, moved to join his daughter in Riga. Worked at the “Rижское взморье” military sanatorium.
