Cherfas (Mindel) Dina Samuilovna (4.12.1920, Rēzekne). Born into the family of Mindel Samuel Getselevich (1879 — killed by fascists in 1941, Rēzekne) and Mindel (Katsman) Asna-Zelda Osherovna (1881–1936, Rēzekne). In 1938, graduated from the Jewish secondary school. Was a dependent of her parents.

In 1941, was evacuated to Stalinabad, Dushanbe Oblast, Tajik SSR, where she was arrested for allegedly attempting to illegally cross the border; by special decree of the Special Commission she was sentenced to 5 years' imprisonment. Served her sentence in a corrective labour colony of Kemerovo Oblast. Released in 1946. In 1959, rehabilitated by a ruling of the Supreme Court of the Tajik SSR.

Her marriage to Cherfas Berel Ruvinovich produced daughters Milinevskaya (Cherfas) Taybe Borisovna (1950, Rēzekne) and Balkina (Cherfas) Asya Borisovna (1953, Rēzekne).

In 1981, received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1979 her daughter — Balkina (Cherfas) Asya Borisovna (1953) — had been living.
