Bregman Yetta Moiseyevna (née Goldshmidt) (born 12 June 1936, Riga) – Head of the Reading Room at the Central Children’s Library of Riga, lecturer, and organiser of themed educational talks.

Yetta Bregman was born into a working-class family. Her father perished in the Riga Ghetto. She completed her secondary education at Riga Secondary School No. 18. Between 1963 and 1970, she studied at the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the Latvian State University, specialising in German.

From 1970 to 1980, she worked as a librarian at the library of the Faculty of Philology, and at the library and archives of the Latvian SSR’s Hydrometeorological Fund. Between 1980 and 1995, she was employed at the Central Children’s Library of Riga.

Through Bregman's initiative, close cooperation was established with schools and teachers. Notable Riga residents such as G. Kurpnieks, O. Dorofeyeva, and A. Losev gave lectures to children. She also led career guidance programmes for pupils in the Kirov District of Riga (Schools Nos. 22, 23, 12, 7, 49, 18, and the Special Speech Therapy School).
