Gita’s first husband was Alexey Patrikeevich Klimov (b. 1928, Riga). Their daughter, Tamara Alekseevna Groysman (née Klimova), was born in 1948 in Riga. The marriage was dissolved in 1955.

Her second marriage was to Simanis Davidovich Berman (b. 1925, Riga). Their daughter, Rayana Simanovna Berman, was born in 1962 in Riga.
