Berman Benjamin (?, Latvia – 3 November 1938, Israel) was one of the founders of the watchmen's society “Agudat Ha-Shomrim”. In 1928, he moved to Israel, where he worked as an agricultural labourer and guard, contributing to the establishment of many settlements. He was fluent in Arabic and well-versed in Arab customs. On 3 November 1938, while guarding the laying of an electric cable along the Acre–Rosh HaNikra line, he was killed during an attack by an Arab gang in the settlement of Shavei Tzion. He was buried in Sheikh Abreik, which is now known as Beit She'arim.
