Beingolts (Beinholtz) (née Shneerson) Rozaliya Lvovna (5.07.1923, Daugavpils) – trade worker.

Rozaliya Beingolts was the daughter of Lev Shneerson (1890, Daugavpils – 1926, Daugavpils) and Hanna Shneerson (née Dritz) (1898, Daugavpils – 1964, Riga).

In 1941, she graduated from Daugavpils Secondary School. At the beginning of the war, she was evacuated to Kuybyshev Region, where she worked at the Raipo Consumer Cooperative in Koldyban District until 1943. From 1943 to 1945, she worked as an accountant in a shop in Chelyabinsk. In 1945, she moved to Ryazan and, in 1946, to Riga.

From 1947, Rozaliya Beingolts worked as a store manager in various food trade enterprises in Riga.

Rozaliya was married to Samuil Beingolts (1918, Zhytomyr Region – 1946, Ryazan), with whom she had a son Lev Beingolts (born 1945, Ryazan).

She later married Ilya Shvinderman (born 1924, Ryazan), with whom she had a daughter Irina Beingolts (born 1953, Riga).

This marriage ended in divorce in the 1970s.

Rozaliya’s elder brother, Robert Shneerson (1921, Daugavpils – 1941, Daugavpils), perished in the Holocaust. Her younger brother, Zalman Shneerson (born 1924, Daugavpils), was interned in the ghetto and later deported to Nazi concentration camps. After being liberated in 1945, he emigrated to what is now Israel.

In 1972, Rozaliya Beingolts was granted permission to emigrate to Israel.
