Baltinava

Born on 12 Tishrei 5667 (1 October 1906) in Peidruya (Freidroysk). He studied at the yeshiva in Dvinsk.

He served as rabbi here from 14 Marcheshvan 5688 (9 November 1927).

In the archive records from 1939 he still appears as rabbi here.

Latvia: Batei Knesset VeRabbanim, p. 224 (where his name is given as Shalom, but from his stamp appearing there on p. 25 it appears that his name was Shlomo; likewise in Pinkas HaKehillot, p. 73, where it is written that he served here as ritual slaughterer).
