Aronstam Zara Zalmanovna (5.06.1948, Riga) – engineer.
Daughter of Riva Aronstam (née Lat) (1916, Krustpils) and Zalman Aronstam (1909, Jelgava). In 1963, Zara Aronstam completed eight years of schooling at Riga Secondary School No. 43. In 1972, she graduated from the evening division of the Riga Technical College of Light Industry, specialising as a planning technician. From 1963 to 1979, she worked as an engineer at the Saule textile factory.
In 1979, Zara Aronstam received permission to emigrate to Israel.
