He also served as ritual slaughterer and rabbinic decisor in Anishishok, district of Novo-Aleksandrovsk.
He was “Maggid of Mishnah and Aggadah at the great minyan of Anash and rabbinic decisor on Orach Chaim and Yoreh De'ah with the authorization of the distinguished rabbi R. Avigdor” [Rivlin].1)
He passed away on 26 Menachem Av 5619 (26 August 1859).
