Rundāle

Rundāle — a settlement in Bauska District (Republic of Latvia). In the 19th and early 20th centuries it was the estate of Ruental in Bauska County of the Courland Governorate. In 1918–1940 it was part of the Republic of Latvia, and in 1940–1991 of the Latvian SSR.

At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century a small Jewish population lived in Rundāle. In 1913 the only grocery shop in the settlement belonged to a Jew.
