Rogovka

Rogovka — a village in the Ludza District (Republic of Latvia).

In the 19th – early 20th centuries it was part of Lutsin (Ludza) County of the Vitebsk Governorate of the Russian Empire. In 1918–1940 Rogovka was within the Republic of Latvia, and in 1940–1991 within the Latvian SSR.

In 1930, 26 Jews lived in Rogovka.

In 1914, Jews owned four grocery–manufactured goods shops and the only manufactory shop in the village.

After the occupation by Wehrmacht units, the Jews of Rogovka were killed in July 1941.
