Butina Tsipa Samuilovna (1924-)

Butina Tsipa Samuilovna (25.8.1924-, Daugavpils) - pharmacist. In 1965, she graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacology of Riga Medical Institute by correspondence. From 1947 to 1972, Butina worked in the pharmacy system of the State Pharmaceutical Agency of the Republic of Latvia. Butina worked in the pharmacies of the State Pharmaceutical Administration of Riga City as a pharmacist, receptor and pharmacy technician.

In 1941, all of her close relatives died in the Daugavpils ghetto: her father Butina Samuil (1892-1941), mother Butina Hana (1897-1941) and brothers Butina Josel (1923-1941) and Butina Anshel (1934-1941).

Butina left Latvia in 1973.
