Barkman (Barkan) Shaja (1914-1941)

Barkman (Barkan) Shaja (1914-1941, Livengrof (now Livani)). From 1927 to 1931 he studied at the Riga Yeshiva, and in 1935 he graduated from the Grand “Knesset-Beit-Yitzchok” Yeshiva in Poland and became the director of Jewish spiritual courses in Gostini. He was the Rabbi of Gostini from 11th January 1935. He died in the Holocaust.
