-**Balter Liba Prejdelevna** (1904-?) – В 1920 г. принимала участие в I Олимпиаде Латвии. В 1920 и в 1928 гг. занимала I и II места на крупных соревнованиях по гимнастике. В 1924 г. стала чемпионом Латвии, была награждена дипломом и медалью. С 1935 г. преподавала в группах здоровья на Рижском пляже. С 1940 по 1941 гг. работала инструктором физкультуры при ЦК профсоюза текстильщиков. В период Великой Отечественной войны была в эвакуации, работал бригадиром в колхозе. С 1943 по 1944 гг. работал военруком в средней школе в Башкирии. В 1944 г. возвращается в Ригу, до 1948 г. работает заместителем председателя Рижского комитета физкультуры и спорта. В 1948 г. окончила институт физической культуры при Латвийском университете. С 1948 по 1954 гг. – директор спортивной школы молодежи. Имела судейскую категорию по спортивной гимнастике, легкой атлетике и фигурному катанию. С 1954 по 1961 гг., работает старшим лаборантом и преподавателем физкультуры в Латвийской сельскохозяйственной академии. +**Balter Liba Prejdelevna** (1904-?). In 1920 she took part in the first Olympiad of Latvia. In 1920 and 1928 she took first and second place at major gymnastics tournaments. In 1924 she became the champion of Latvia and was awarded a certificate and a medal. From 1935 she taught fitness groups at the Riga beach. From 1940 to 1941 she worked as a fitness instructor for the central committee of the Textile Trade Union. During the Great Patriotic War (WW2) she was evacuated and worked as a foreman on a communal farm. From 1943 to 1944 she worked as a drill instructor at a secondary school in Bashkiria. In 1944 she returned to Riga and worked until 1948 as the vice-chairman of the Riga Physical Education and Sport Committee. In 1948 she graduated from the Institute of Physical Education at the University of Latvia. From 1948 to 1954 she was the director of a youth sports school. She acted as an umpire for competitive gymnastics, athletics and figure skating. From 1954 to 1961 she worked as a senior laboratory technician and physical education teacher at the Latvian Agricultural Academy. In 1965 she was awarded the title of "All-Soviet Honorable Judge" for her great work in developing gymnastics in the Republic of Latvia, her exemplary experience of working in the field over the years and her many years of umpiring in major competitions. From 1969 she worked as an instructional trainer at the Daugava Central Sports Centre of the Voluntary Sports Societies of the Soviet Union.
