Balter Galina Haimovna (1962-, Riga). From 1980 to 1983 she studied at the Riga Industrial Polytechnic. In 1981 she worked as a senior technician in the department of tool production of the mechanical-machine-building faculty. From 1983 to 1984 she was a process engineer at the industrial association S.D.M. From 1984 she worked as a programming engineer at the Riga jewellery factory.
