In the Holocaust, R.'s parents, Rudnitsky Neukh (1880, Homel Oblast — 1941(?), Riga) and Rudnitskaya Pesya-Blyuma (1882, Daugavpils — 1941(?), Riga), and sister, Rabin (Rudnitskaya) Sara (1906 — 1941(?), Riga), perished. R.'s brother, Rudnitsky Kalman (1904, Daugavpils — 1943, Irkutsk Oblast), according to unverified information, was exiled from Latvia to Russia in the 1930s for underground communist activity.
