Lifshits (Lifschitz) Abram Vulfovich (22 August 1903, Varakļāni) — tailor.
Abram Lifshits was born into the family of Vulf Abramovich Lifshits (d. 1922) and Dora Vulfovna Lifshits (d. 1932). He completed four classes of the Jewish school (1914), worked as a tailor’s apprentice and later as an artisan tailor (1914–1941, Varakļāni). He was evacuated to the Uzbek SSR, served in the Soviet Army, and after being wounded continued his service in a non-combat unit, working as a tailor (1942–1945). He then worked as a tailor at the Opera Theatre (1945–1946, Gorky), as a tailor in the “Adu Galanterija” artel (1947–1949, Riga), and as a procurement agent at the Riga office of Latpotrebsoyuz (1949–1972).
In his marriage to Khaya Abramovna Lifshits (née Sandler) (1903), he had sons Vladimir Abramovich Livshits (1931), Khona Abramovich Livshits (1936), Girsh Abramovich Lifshits (1948), and a daughter, Dora Abramovna Feld (née Lifshits) (1933).
In 1972, he received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1969 his daughter Dora Abramovna Feld (née Lifshits) had been living.
