Levina (Lewina) (née Brozgol) Khaya-Merka (Chaya-Merka) Avseyevna (1 January 1902, Varakļāni) — seamstress.
From 1914 to 1922 Khaya-Merka Levina worked as a hired seamstress in Varakļāni. At the beginning of the war she evacuated with her family to the Sernur District of the Mari ASSR, where in 1941–45 she worked on a kolkhoz. In 1945 she moved with her family to Riga. In 1959 she travelled to Legnica, Poland. That same year she applied for permission to emigrate to Israel for permanent residence.
In 1922 she married Khaim Movshevich Levin. Three children were born in the marriage:
• Aron Khaimovich Levin (1 January 1933, Varakļāni – ?) — engineer at the Avtoelektropribor factory in Riga.
• Monus Khaimovich Levin (8 April 1938, Varakļāni – ?) — senior engineer at the Ministry of Local Industry in Riga.
• Ella Khaimovna Zegerson (née Levin) (27 August 1927, Varakļāni – ?) — in 1958 moved with her husband, M. Ya. Zegerson (carpenter), and daughter B. M. Zegerson to Poland (as the husband was of Polish origin), and in 1960 they emigrated to Israel.
Her father, Avsey Moiseyevich Brozgol (1846, Varakļāni – 1919, Varakļāni), was a tailor; he was killed by White Guards who mistook him for a partisan-communist.
Her mother, Mira Izrailevna Brozgol (1858, Roshitten/Rēzekne – 1934).
Her brother, Meer Avseyevich Brozgol (1883, Varakļāni – 1963, Rēzekne).
