In marriage with Isaak Khaimovich Katsev (1924, Kraslava, Latvia), she had two children: Khaim Isaakovich Katsev (1951, Riga) and Eta Isaakovna Katseva (1956, Riga).

In 1990, Yakhvede-Rohele Katzeva received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her husband’s cousin Rakhel Moiseevna Zakharova (née Shlosberg) (1917, Kraslava) had been living since 1983.
