Zeigal (Seigal) (née Jakobson) Ester (Esther) Abramovna (1923, Riga) — trade worker.

Ester Zeigal was the daughter of Abram Jakobson (1897, Riga – 1944, Balashikha) and Beile Jakobson (1894, Rostov-on-Don – 1965, Riga). In 1941, she graduated from the Jewish secondary school in Riga. That same year, she was evacuated to the Tatar ASSR, where she worked as a secondary school teacher until 1944.

From 1945 to 1946, she worked as an X-ray technician at Special Hospital No. 3732 in the Vologda region. In 1946–47, she was employed as a translator at the Department for Repatriation of Prisoners of War of the MVD in Riga, Sloka, and Līgatne. From 1956 to 1963, she worked as a shop assistant in Store No. 2 of the Riga ORS NOD, at the Riga District Fisheries Cooperative, and in Store No. 61 of the 1st Riga City Industrial Trade Department. From 1963 to 1965, she was employed as an operator at Rigapromstroy.

In 1966, Ester Zeigal graduated from the Soviet Trade Technical School in Riga. From 1965 to 1969, she served as deputy head of a section at Store No. 1 of the 2nd Riga City Industrial Trade Department.

In marriage to Zalman Zeigal (1919, Ventspils), she had a daughter, Anna Zeigal (1948, Riga). Her brother, Iosif Jakobson (1924, Riga – 1944), fought in the 43rd Latvian Division and was killed in action.

In 1969, Ester Zeigal received permission to emigrate to Israel, invited by her cousin, Rosa Jakobson (1922, Riga).
