Zalmanson(Salmansohn) Vulf (Wulf) (Ze’ev) (1939, Riga) – Prisoner of Zion, a prominent Zionist activist in the Baltic States.

Vulf Zalmanson took part in commemorating the memory of 33,000 Latvian Jews murdered by the Nazis in the Rumbula forest during the Second World War (an activity to which the Soviet authorities were strongly opposed). In 1970, he was arrested on charges of Zionist anti-state subversive activity, distributing anti-Soviet materials, attempting to hijack an aeroplane and escape to Israel, as well as treason. Since Vulf was an officer of the Soviet Army, he was tried by a military tribunal, which in 1971 sentenced him to 10 years in a corrective labour camp. He was released in 1979 and emigrated to Israel the same year. He was elected to the Council of the Prisoners of Zion organisation.
