Zalmanson (Salmansohn) Barukh (Baruch) (1884, Riga) – public figure.
Barukh Zalmanson was the son of the well-known Riga merchant and public activist Leizer Zalmanson. He was brought up in the home of the renowned rabbi Dr Shlomo Carlebach in Lübeck, where he completed a commercial school. From 1928, he served as secretary of Malbish Arumim and was an active member of the board of the Cheap Kitchens society.
