Yukha Izrail Rafailovich (1.11.1930, Varakļāni) — worker. Son of Yukha Rafail (1904 — 1968, Riga) and Yukha (née Kats) Ita (1904, Varakļāni — 1970, Riga). In 1938—41 — student at the Jewish incomplete secondary school in Varakļāni. In 1941 he was evacuated to the Mari ASSR; until 1945 — student at the Dubnikovo incomplete secondary school. In 1945 Yu. returned to Latvia and lived in Riga. In 1945—47 — worker at the “Raznoprom” artel. In 1948—50 — lathe operator at the “Gidrometpribor” plant. In 1950—55 — compulsory military service in the Soviet Army. From 1955 — watchmaker at the repair shop of the “Darbs” plant. In his marriage to Yukha (née Solovey) Taube (1935, Balvi), sons Yukha Eliezer (1957, Riga) and Yukha Gideon (1962, Riga) were born. In 1971 Yu. received permission to emigrate to Israel at the invitation of his wife's cousin, Bik Taybi-Fayga (1925, Varakļāni).
