Yeremias (Jeremias) Sheina (Scheina), née Nathan (08.01.1875) – social activist.
Already before the war, Sheina Yeremias worked in Riga volunteer organisations, such as the Bethel Society and Malbish Arumim. She was active in Kinder Freint, Internat, the Rest Home for Poor Children, Linat Tzedek, Bikur Holim, and others.
