Yavich (née Kopman) Ida Davidovna (22.07.1931, Daugavpils) — worker. Daughter of Kopman Liba (1894, Riga – 1961, Riga) and Kopman David (1896, Ludza – …). In 1941 she completed 4 grades of basic school in Daugavpils. In 1941 she was evacuated to the Chuvash ASSR. In 1946 she was re-evacuated to Latvia. In 1946—49 – worker at the “Raznoprom” artel in Riga. In 1949—56 – worker at the “Dzirkstelīte” artel. From 1956 – housewife. In her marriage to Yavich David (1926, Varakļāni), son Yavich Ilya (1955, Riga) was born. Ya.'s father was killed at the front during the war. In 1972 Ya. received permission to emigrate to Israel at the invitation of her father's sister, Srulevich Sima (1907, Krustpils).
