Yakobson (née Mayskaya) Lina (1938(?)) ― pianist, teacher. From 1945 she studied at the Emīls Dārziņš Music School (class of M. Slutskov and F. Bulavko), then at the Jāzeps Mediņš Music College (class of R. Ya. Mikhelsons). In 1963 she completed the piano division of the Latvian Conservatory (class of N. Fedorovsky). In Riga she was primarily engaged in teaching. From 1968 she has been living in Israel. As a concertmaster she works with vocalists and instrumentalists. She has performed extensively together with her brother, cellist M. Maisky, in Israel and other countries worldwide (including Italy and Zimbabwe). Her second brother is V. Maisky.
