Yakhnina (née Vayner) Bella Moiseevna (27.07.1930, Daugavpils) ― biology and chemistry teacher. She was born into the family of owners of the largest furniture shop in Daugavpils; she attended a Hebrew-language kindergarten and school, and from 1940 — a Jewish school. In 1950 she completed the Daugavpils Teachers' Institute; she worked for 2 years near Malta at the Druvalska 8-year school as a teacher. In 1955 she completed the correspondence division of the A. Gertsen Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute. In 1955―82 she taught at Riga's 32nd 8-year school, and later at Riga's 16th Secondary School. For many years she was the organizer of agricultural practical work at “Saules Dārzs” in Mežaparks.
