Wasserman (Wassermann, Vasserman) David Vulfovich (1939, Riga) — factory worker.

David Wasserman was the son of Vulf Wasserman (1905, Utena, Lithuania – 1942) and Khaya-Bluma Bernshtam (Simson, Wasserman) (1912, Ventspils). From 1955 to 1956, he worked as a turner at the VEF factory. Between 1957 and 1965, he worked at various workplaces: the Rekord and Erglis factories, the Venta industrial complex, and Riga Construction and Repair Department No. 3. From 1965 onwards, he was employed at the production plant of the Republican Committee of DOSAAF. In 1966, he completed 8 years of education at Riga Evening School No. 24 for working youth.

David Wasserman married Maia Wasserman (Rudnitskaya) (1938, Gorky), with whom he had two children: Minna Wasserman (1962, Riga) and Vulf Wasserman (1968, Riga). His father died heroically on the front lines of the Great Patriotic War. In 1969, he received permission to emigrate to Israel, invited by his mother.
