Wert (27.09.1876, Mitava) - doctor, public figure.
Dr Wert graduated from the medical faculty of Kharkov University. Even in his younger years, he was active in socialist circles, later working in the zemstvo. He became known among social democrats for illegally treating wounded revolutionaries. He was one of the founders of the doctors' hospital fund, founder of the social democratic doctors' section.
