Tsalikhin Iosif Davidovich (25.02.1946, Riga) — physician. In 1968 he completed the Riga Medical Institute. His primary specialty is internist. Candidate of Medical Sciences (1974). In 1975 he completed specialist courses in pharmacology in Moscow. From 1976 — member of the “Znanie” (Knowledge) society. He carried out research work and had publications in central journals. Until 31.01.1979 he worked as senior resident at the 3rd Municipal Clinical Hospital. By order of the Riga Municipal Department of Health dated 22.01.1979 he was transferred to the 2nd Municipal Hospital. From 01.02.1979 he headed its 2nd Internal Medicine Department. Married, with a son, Daniel (b. 09.04.1969). Military rank – senior lieutenant of the medical service.
