Tabak (née Godysh, Zoller) Brana Gershovna (1 April 1919, Orhei) — seamstress.

In 1934, Brana Tabak graduated from seven classes of a Romanian school in Orhei. In 1934–1939, she worked as a seamstress in private workshops in her hometown.

In 1941, she was evacuated to the Uzbek SSR, where she worked on the Kirov collective farm. In 1952–1958, she worked as a seamstress at the 1st Riga Garment Factory.

In 1962, she was prosecuted for complicity in private entrepreneurial activity and was imprisoned until 1964. From 1965, she worked as a laborer at the VEF factory.

She married Boris Tabak (1906, Kishinev). In the family of her parents, Gershon Godysh (1876, Bendery — 1941) and Rukhlya Godysh (1879, Bendery — 1933, Orhei), there were six children.

During the Holocaust, her father and her sister Basya Abramovich (née Godysh) (1915, Orhei — 1941) were killed. Her sister Golda Pauker (née Godysh) (1900, Bendery) and her brother Isak Godysh (1902, Orhei) lived and worked in Moldova in the 1960s.

Her sisters Bune Vilikautsan (née Godysh) (1911, Orhei — 1935, Orhei) and Malka Godysh (1917, Orhei — 1941, Orhei) died before the beginning of the Second World War.

Her first husband, Froim Zoller (… — …), went missing on the fronts of the Second World War in the first days of the war.

In 1956, Brana Tabak applied for permission to emigrate to Israel, which was granted only in 1963.
