Sosner (née Blat, Traugote) Khaya (Chaja) Solomonovna (1919, Riga) — worker.

From 1955 to 1960, Khaya Sosner worked as a labourer at the artel “Darbs.” From 1960 to 1963, she worked at the factory “Sadarbība,” at Shop No. 62 in Riga, and at the plants “Kompressor” and “REZ.” From 1963 to 1971, she was a worker at the factory “Dzintars.”

Her father, Sholom Blat (1873, Riebiņi, Latvia — 1936), died shortly before the war. During the Second World War, under the German occupation of Latvia, her mother Etta Blat (née Orlean) (1878, Riebiņi, Latvia — 1941, Riga) and her brothers Khaim Blat (1903, Riebiņi, Latvia — 1941), Kasriel Blat (1901, Riebiņi, Latvia — 1941), Iskhok Blat (1907, Riebiņi, Latvia — 1941), and Berl Blat (1914, Riebiņi, Latvia — 1941) were killed.

In 1971, she received permission to emigrate to Israel to join her sisters, Sara-Khaya Goldshmit (née Blat) (1911, Riebiņi, Latvia) and Nekhama Kimeldorf (née Blat) (1921, Riebiņi, Latvia), who had been living in Israel since the early 1960s.

Her first husband, Meyshe Traugot (1919, Bauska — 1941), was killed at the front. Her second husband, Zalman Sosner (1913, Riga — 1966, Riga), died after a long illness and was buried in Riga.

Her children, Solomon Sosner (1941, Riga), Abram Sosner (1948, Riga), and Simma Kogan (née Sosner) (1946, Riga), received permission to emigrate to Israel in the late 1960s and followed her there.
