Slovina (Slowina) (née Perelman) Sara (8 March 1915, Riga — 2 March 1997, Abakan) — choreographer, ballet master.

In her childhood and youth, SAra Slovina studied in ballet studios of A. Kere, V. Kamina, and A. Fedorova, and also studied drawing.

In June 1941, she was deported to the Krasnoyarsk region. In 1945, she returned to Riga, but in 1949 she was deported again, this time to Abakan (Khakassia).

There she studied Khakass folk dances and worked as a ballet master at the city House of Culture. In 1957, she created a small dance ensemble and choreographed a dance for it, which was presented in Moscow at the World Festival of Youth and Students (1958).

Following the success at the festival, the group was transformed into the Khakass Folk Ensemble “Zharki,” of which she served as artistic director until 1972.

In 1956, she was rehabilitated.

In Khakassia, a republican choreographic competition named after Sara Slovina is held regularly.
