Slavina (Slawina) (née Belik) Galina Usherovna (1 January 1933, Zhytomyr, Ukraine) - worker.

Galina Slavina was born into the family of Usher Leizerovich Belik (1907, Zhytomyr) and Klara Girshovna Belik (née Roitblat) (1909, Zhytomyr). In 1940, she began her schooling, but in 1941 was evacuated to Samarkand, Uzbek SSR, where she continued her education (1941–1947). In 1947, the family moved to Jurmala, where Galina completed secondary school No. 5 in 1951.

She worked as a screen printer in the “Remont” artel (1951–1952) and the “Makslinieks” artel (1952–1955), and managed household duties from 1955 to 1959. Between 1959 and 1963, she worked intermittently as a screen printer in the Household services combine of the Stalin and Moscow districts of Riga. From 1963 to 1975, she worked as a printer and hat maker at the Knitwear Production Combine, later renamed the production association “Liga,” and from 1975 to 1983 she was employed as a printer at the firm “Rigas Apgerbs.”

She was married to Efim Afanasievich Slavin (1920, Lepel, Vitebsk Region, Belarus), with whom she had a daughter, Margarita Yefimovna Magidenko (née Slavin) (1955, Jurmala).

In 1983, Galina Slavina received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1981 her sister, Svetlana Usherovna Naigauzen (née Belik, also known as Basya-Sveta) (1948, Jurmala), had been residing.

Her siblings include Yakov Usherovich Belik (1929, Zhytomyr), who emigrated to Israel in 1979 and later moved to the USA; Asya Grigorievna Shpungina (née Belik) (1933, Zhytomyr), who emigrated to Israel in 1971; Semen Usherovich Belik (1939, Zhytomyr), who emigrated to Israel in 1972; Elena Usherovna Levina (née Belik) (1944, Samarkand, Uzbek SSR), who emigrated to Israel in 1979 and later to the USA; and Gennady Usherovich Belik (1948, Jurmala), who emigrated to Israel in 1980 and later to the USA.
