Silver Eliezer (Elieser) (1882, Abeli, Novoaleksandrovsk District, Kovno Province — 1968, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA) — rabbi.

Elizer Silver received a traditional Jewish religious education and studied under prominent rabbinic authorities, including Chaim Ozer Grodzinski, Yosef Rosen (the Rogatchover Gaon), and Chaim Soloveitchik.

From 1907, he lived in the United States. From 1907 to 1925, he served as a rabbi in Harrisburg (Pennsylvania); from 1925 to 1931, as a rabbi in Springfield (Massachusetts); and from 1931, as a rabbi in Cincinnati.

From 1923, he was the president of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States.

In 1939, Elizer Silver founded the American branch of Agudas Israel and became its first president.

He was a regular contributor to Orthodox Jewish periodicals and authored a two-volume commentary on the Talmud (1960–1962).
