Shteyn Pesya Abramovna (12.1913, Subate, Latvia) ― bookkeeper. In 1932 she graduated from Riga's 1st Municipal Secondary School. She attended bookkeeping courses, and until 1937 worked as a bookkeeper at the “Erglis” shoe factory. In 1937―40 she was a bookkeeper at the “Rode and Gershteyn” office.
In 1940 the office was nationalized and came under the 1st Riga Trade Office as Base No. 45. She continued working as deputy chief accountant until her evacuation in 1941.
Together with her family she was evacuated to Ivanovo Region, where she worked as an accounting clerk until November 1944.
At the government's summons she returned to Riga, and was taken on as a bookkeeper-instructor at the “Zheleznodorozhnik Latvii” (Railway Worker of Latvia) publishing house of the Latvian Railway. She left this position in May 1945.
From June 1945 she worked as senior bookkeeper at the Riga Dairy Industry Technical College. In July 1946 she was released from this position at her own request. Until 1949 she worked under labor agreements in various bookkeeping positions. From March 1949 she was senior bookkeeper at the Riga Paramedic-Midwifery School.
