Shneyder (née Kopyal) Eidel Leybovna (3.09.1911, Novograd-Volynsky, Ukraine – 1983, Riga) – educator. She was born into the family of Kopyal Leyb Khaimovich (1870, Novograd-Volynsky – killed 1941, Kyiv, Babi Yar) and Goltsman Malka Faivelevna (1880–1919, Rogachev, Ukraine). She studied at Labor School No. 1 in Novograd-Volynsky, and moved to Odessa, where she worked as a milling-machine operator at the Krasnaya Gvardiya machine-building plant (1926–1932); she completed the workers' faculty at Odessa State University (1933), and then graduated from Odessa State University itself (1938). She worked as a history teacher – at a shipbuilding industry technical college (1938–1940, Bolshoy Takman, Uzbek SSR), at Secondary School No. 11 (1941–1944, Margilan, Uzbek SSR), and at Secondary School No. 423 (1945–1948, Kronstadt). On moving to Riga, she worked as a history teacher at Secondary School No. 18 (1948–1949), was a dependent of her husband (1949–1952), and worked as a teacher – at Secondary School No. 13 (1952–1955), and at Evening School for Working Youth No. 19 (1955–1967). From 1967 – retired.

In her marriage to Shnayder Abram Kalmanovich (1909, Novograd-Volynsky – 1975, Riga), son Shnayder Arkady Abramovich (b. 1940, Odessa) and daughter Shnayder Inna Abramovna (b. 1945, Kronstadt) were born.

In 1983 she applied to move permanently to Israel, where her son's wife's aunt – Shmuelovich (née Feitelberg) Miryam Shlaumovna (1922, Ventspils) – had been living since 1971. She received a refusal.
