Shmulik Abrash Isaakovich (2.10.1933, Svisloch, Mogilev Region, Belarus) – worker. He was born into the family of shoemaker Shmulik Isaak Rubinovich (1909, Mogilev Region) and seamstress Shmulik (née Soloveychik) Nina Abramovna (1911, Svisloch). Together with his mother he was evacuated to Kyzyl-Orda, Kazakh SSR (1941–1946). On returning to Riga he completed 8 grades of secondary school. He worked as a lathe operator's apprentice at the Riga “Glavmyasomolmash” machine-building plant (1950–1952), and served in the Soviet Army (1952–1956, Vladivostok). After demobilization he worked in Riga as a lathe operator at a turbomechanical plant (1956–1957), and was a stamping apprentice, then a stamper at the “Pirmais Maijs” shoe factory, and then at the “Blazma” factory (1960–1972).

In his marriage to Shmulik (née Geller) Riva Berovna (1936, Riga), daughters Shmulik Yevgenia Abrashevna (b. 1961, Riga) and Shmulik Tatyana Abrashevna (b. 1970, Riga) were born.

In 1972 he received permission to emigrate to Israel, where his wife's cousin Budin Girsh-Shmuel Aronovich (1925, Riga) had been living.
