Shenkman (Nagli) Minda Yefremovna (15.12.1908, Dagda, Latvia) – worker. Born into the family of timber grader Nagli Yefrem Davidovich (1871–1942, Dagda) and housewife Nagli Sora-Siterna Beinusovna (1869–1941, Polotsk, Belarus). She graduated from a gymnasium (1928) and then a bookkeeping course (1929). In Riga she worked as a cashier at the firm “Rīgas Papīrmalka” (1929–1930), as cashier-bookkeeper at the “Woodexport” timber-processing enterprise (1930–1932), and at the firm “Sylvana” (1932–1941). She was evacuated to Yaroslavl Oblast, then moved to Andijan Oblast in the Uzbek SSR, and later to the town of Andijan. On returning to Riga, she was a dependant of her husband (1945–1949), worked at the “Dzimtene” artel (1949), and had to stop work due to illness. She returned to work in 1953: she was deputy shop manager at the “Restavrator” artel (1953), was a dependant of her husband (1953–1958), worked as an assembler at the “Dzimtene” artel (1958–1960), as a fitter at the artel (later plant) “Galalit” (1960–1961), and as an assembler of plastic products at the “Ausma” plant (1961–1968).

Her marriage to Shenkman David Mikhailovich (1909, Riga) produced sons Shenkman Mikhail Davidovich (1940, Riga – 1942, Andijan Oblast) and Shenkman Yefrem Davidovich (1943, Andijan).

In 1971 she received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her husband's half-sister, Rabinovich (Shenkman) Khana Mikhailovna (1908, Vitebsk), had lived since 1945.
