Shalit Ilya (?, Riga — 1953) — physician, psychoanalyst. Studied at the Military Medical Academy in St Petersburg. After the October Revolution, emigrated to Germany. Received medical education in Freiburg (Germany), then specialised in psychiatry in Zurich (Switzerland). After returning to Germany, completed a training course in psychoanalysis; practised at a clinic in Tegel (Germany). Member of the Berlin Psychoanalytic Society.
In 1933, emigrated to Palestine. Was one of the founders of the Israel Psychoanalytic Society. Worked in the field of mental health and education. Practised in Haifa.
