Rubinstein Betty (1952, Riga) — artist.
Betty Rubinstein was born into a family of artists and musicians. She received her education at the Janis Rozentāls Art School and the Art Academy in Riga, as well as at Oranim College and the University of Haifa.
In 1973 she emigrated to Israel. She travelled extensively and in each country studied local visual art. Her works in oil, acrylic, and watercolour are executed in a realistic manner with a tendency towards abstractionism. Her artistic style was influenced by Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Wassily Kandinsky.
Her works have been exhibited at the Art Centre in Tel Aviv, the Naval Museum in Haifa, and other venues, and are held in private collections in Israel, Russia, Ireland, and the United States.
