Pitel Aron Abramovich (8 April 1887, Dvinsk, Vitebsk Governorate – 1941, Vyški) - educator.

In 1902 Aron Pitel graduated from the Jewish theological seminary in Dvinsk, and in 1906 he completed higher religious studies at the yeshiva in the town of Radun, Lida District, Vilna Governorate. He began his teaching career in 1907 in schools in Dvinsk (the private school of M. Gurvich, the private school of P. Volotsky, and the school of E. Yakunin), which was certified by the Daugavpils spiritual rabbi K. L. Ruchko. He taught Jewish history, Hebrew, and Yiddish.

With the outbreak of the First World War he moved to Novgorod Governorate. In the autumn of 1920 he became head of the Jewish Primary School in Vyški, a position he held until September 1940. He had a wife, Zara (born 1888), and a son, Israel-David (born 1924). He was shot in 1941 in Vyški.
