Nakhimovsky (Nachimowsky) David (Dawid) (1921, Dvinsk) — Prisoner of Zion.

From 1933 to 1938 David Nakhimovsky was a member of the Betar movement. In 1933 he left for Palestine; in 1939, owing to family circumstances, he returned to Latvia and was unable to leave again because of the outbreak of the war. In 1942 he was arrested on charges of Zionist activity and sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment and five years of exile. He was released in 1957 and, in 1971, was able to emigrate to Israel.
