Myshalov Vulf (Wulf) Rafailovich (22 April 1892, Slutsk – 6 November 1967, Vologda) — physician.

Vulf Myshalov was born into the family of a petty tradesman. In 1912, he graduated from the Gomel Gymnasium but was unable to enrol at a Russian university owing to the prevailing quota system limiting Jewish admissions (90 Russian students to 10 Jewish students). From 1912 to 1914, he studied at the Faculty of Medicine in Zurich; from 1915 to 1919, at Moscow University.

During the First World War, he served as a regimental physician on the Northern and Western Fronts. After demobilisation in 1922, he undertook a six-month specialisation in otolaryngology at the Leningrad Medical Institute, then returned to Slutsk, where he worked as an ENT specialist at the municipal hospital. From 1927 to 1929, he was employed as a physician in the ear department in Orekhovo-Zuyevo, after which he moved to Vologda, where he served as head of the ear department of the city hospital.

Between 1941 and 1944, Vulf Myshalov was head of a hospital department. In November 1943, he was awarded the badge Excellent Worker of Public Health. He was also decorated with the Order of Lenin and the Medal For Labour Valour, and in 1961 he was granted the honorary title Honoured Doctor of the RSFSR.
