Muller Zindel (Sindel) (1921, Riga) — Prisoner of Zion.
At the age of 15 Zindel Muller joined the Betar organization and was an active member of the movement both before and after the Soviet occupation. He was drafted into the Red Army; in 1943, while in service, he was arrested and convicted on charges of Zionist-oriented social activity among Jewish soldiers. He was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment and 5 years of exile.
He served his sentence in the Bogoslovlag, Baikallag, and Taishetlag labor camps. He was released in 1952 and, in 1971, managed to emigrate to Israel.
