Milman (Milmann) Ulrich (1882) – philanthropist, public figure.

Ulrich Milman played a leading role in philanthropic activities in Riga. He rendered great services to Latvian Jewry by building and equipping a Jewish hospital, which bore the name ‘Ulrich Milman Fund’ and which he constantly supported with great dedication. For his great achievements in the field of philanthropy, social support and contribution to industry, he was awarded the Order of Three Stars. He responded to all the needs of the Jewish population and supported all social support campaigns with large donations.
