Meilakh (Meilach) Erukhim (Eruchim) Abevich (28 October 1923, Riga) — manual worker.

Erukhim Meilakh was the son of Abe Meilakh (1878, Pļaviņas — 1942, Solikamsk) and Hode Meilakh (1897, Jēkabpils). He completed nine grades of secondary school. In 1940 he was administratively deported from Latvia. In 1941–1942 he worked as a labourer on the Padoga collective farm in the village of Parabel. In 1942 he was mobilised into the Labour Army and until 1945 worked on construction projects in Novosibirsk. In 1945–1946 he worked as a bricklayer in Tomsk Region. From 1946 to 1959 he was employed as a stove-maker with the Parabel and Kolpashevo voluntary fire brigades. In 1959 he returned to Riga. From that year he worked as a bricklayer, glazier, and later as a brigade leader at the Riga Lighting Engineering Plant.

In marriage with Riva Rabinovich (born 1931, Riga; marriage dissolved), two children were born: Ada Meilakh (1953, village of Parabel, Tomsk Region) and Mikhail Meilakh (1958, Tomsk). His mother and sisters, Pesa Meylakh (1921, Riga) and Berta Gurevich (née Meylakh) (1921, Riga), emigrated to Israel in 1969. In 1972 Erukhim Meilakh received permission to emigrate to Israel at the invitation of his mother.
