Marianovsky Mark Grigorievich (25 April 1890, Russia — 1944, Buchenwald) was a composer and accordionist.

Mark Marianovsky graduated from the Saint Petersburg Polytechnic Institute. After 1918 he moved to Latvia, where he owned a private business and worked as an engineer in Riga. He played musical instruments by ear, as he had no formal musical education. He was the author of popular songs in the rhythms of foxtrot, waltz, and tango, including “Tatyana,” “The Wine of Love,” “I Want to Forget You,” “The Caucasus,” and “Carmensita,” among others.

His songs gained wide popularity in many European countries through performances by the Russian émigré singer Pyotr Leshchenko. Marianovsky’s compositions were written down in musical notation by his son, A. M. Marianovsky. Recordings of his songs, performed by M. Vetra, A. Yankovsky, and P. Leshchenko, were made at the studios Bellaccord-Electro, Columbia, and Odeon.
