Mandelkorn Sara Isakovna (17 September 1914, Jelgava) — accountant.

In 1933, Sara Mandelkorn completed ten years of study at the Jewish secondary school in Jelgava. From 1933 to 1940, she worked as an accountant at a Jelgava firm engaged in the sale of grain and seeds. From 1940 to 1941, she was employed in the accounts department of the Jelgava Military Trade Administration. In the summer of 1941, she was evacuated to the village of Sosnovka in the Vyatsko-Polyansky District of Kirov Region, where she worked at the local collective farm until 1942. From 1942 to 1944, she worked as a bookkeeper at the Sosnovka Timber Combine.

In 1944, she returned to Riga and was a homemaker until 1950. From 1950 to 1954, she worked as a cashier and shop assistant at the 1st Riga Municipal Food Trade Directorate. Owing to her daughter’s illness, Liya Mandelkorn (1947, Riga), she did not work from 1954 to 1959. From 1959 to 1977, she was employed as a goods receiver and warehouse worker at Riga Sewing Factory No. 1, later renamed the “Spartak” Factory. From 1977, she was retired on grounds of age.

Her parents, brother and sisters — Isak Sherman (1866–1941), Ida (Markus) Sherman (1881–1941), Leib Sherman (1907–1941), Blyuma Zamuel (née Sherman) (1910–1941) and Etta Sherman (1910–1941) — were shot in Jelgava during the German occupation.

In 1977, Sara Mandelkorn received permission to leave Latvia.
